MSPD कँम्प

मुलाचं मन, मेंदू आणि मनगट भक्कम करणारा आणि वेगवेगळे क्रीडा प्रकार एकाच छताखाली असणारा शांतिनिकेतनचा एम.एस.पी.डी. कॅम्प हा देशभरात नावाजलेला कॅम्प आहे. शांतिनिकेतन लोकविद्यापीठ परिसरात राबविण्यात येणाऱ्या अनेक उपक्रमापैकी एम.एस.पी.डी. कॅम्प (सैनिकी प्रशिक्षण व व्यक्तिमत्व विकास शिबीर) हा एक प्रममुख उपक्रम आहे. बॅ. जी. डी. पाटील जिमखाना या नावानं कार्यरत असलेल्या संस्थेअंतर्गत हे उन्हाळी शिबीर प्रतिवर्षी वयोगट १० ते २० वर्षे करिता दि.१ ते २१ मे या कालावधीत आयोजित करण्यात येतं.

सन १९९७ साली केवळ ६ शिबीरार्थींच्या सहभागात सुरु झालेला हा कॅम्प आता राज्य आणि राष्ट्रीय पातळीवर एक नावलौकिक प्राप्त आणि दर्जेदार कॅम्प बनला आहे. ममुलांच्यामध्ये शिस्त आणि भावनिक दृढता बळकट करण्यासाठी अशाप्रकारचे कॅम्प आदर्श आणि परिणामकारक ठरतात या विचारावर ठाम राहून या उपक्रमाला श्री. गौतम पाटील ङ्मांनी अग्रक्रम दिला. ३ आठवडे कलावधीसाठी चालणाऱ्या या कॅम्पमध्ये जिम्नॅस्टिक, कुस्ती, धनुर्विद्या, रायफल शुटींग, तायक्वांदो, मल्लखांब, रॅपलिंग, ऑबस्टॅकल कोर्स, वॉल क्लायबींग, गिरीभ्रमण, लाठी-काठी, जलतरण, घोडेस्वारी इत्ङ्मादी क्रीडाप्रकारांचं प्रशिक्षण दिलं जातं. तसेच सैनिकी शिस्त लागण्यासाठी संचलन व कवायतींचं प्रशिक्षणही दिलं जातं.  तसेच प्रार्थना, श्लोक, मंत्र, सूर्यनमस्कार, योग, ध्यान, स्वावलंबन या प्रशिक्षणातून ममुलांच्या मनावर संस्कार केले जातात. सहभागी झालेल्या विद्याथ्र्यांचे पालक व सर्व कुटुंबीय यांच्या उपस्थितीत अत्यंत शिस्तबद्द व दर्जेदार असा डेमो-डे साजरा करुन कॅम्पच्या प्रशिक्षणाचा समारोप करण्यात येत असतो. निवास आणि भोजनाची दर्जेदार व्यवस्था करुन देशभरातून आलेल्या मुला-मुलींची कोणतीही गैरसोय न होता अत्यंत उत्साही आणि आनंदी वातावरणात या शिबीरातील कार्यक्रमांचं आयोजन होत असल्यानं महाराष्ट्रातील तसेच इतर अनेक राज्यातून इच्छुक मुले-मुली ङ्मामध्ये सहभागी होत असतात. या कॅम्पमध्ये दाखल झाल्यानंतर आणि हा कॅम्प पूर्ण झाल्यानंतर या मुलांमध्ये जो मानसिक, भावनिक आणि शारीरिक बदल पालकांना अनुभवायला मिळतो, तो पाहून अनेकांनी पालकांच्या  साठीही असा कॅम्प सुरु करावा अशी मागणी केली.

Some Rules

• Physical Fitness Certificate from a Regd. Medical Practitioner is must.
• Fees can not refunded, if the participant leaves the camp
• If the admission is cancelled on or before 8 May 2024, full amount of
• fee will be refunded.
• Parents can meet the participants only on Sunday (i.e. 6th May)
• Parents should not bring Cold Drinks or Oily eatables for their children.
